Sleep Disorders

Sleep is essential to our health and wellbeing.  Anyone who has ever had a period of disrupted sleep will understand just how debilitating chronic sleep difficulties can be.  One of the more common sleep disorders experienced by adults is insomnia, which involves a difficulty falling or staying asleep.  Insomnia costs the Australian public billions each year in lost productivity and should be taken very seriously.

Sufferers report having a lack of energy, difficulty concentrating, irritability, poor performance at work and school, memory and mood difficulties.  For some people with existing mental health conditions, insomnia complicates and worsens the condition.
