I work with individuals and couples in ongoing sessions. I also offer deeper intensive work for couples and individuals upon application.
I’m Emily Stone, a clinical psychologist with over two decades of experience, training and working at some of the major admitting and teaching hospitals in Sydney.
I was clinically trained, gaining my Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Clinical Psychology and earning the University Medal at Sydney University and several scholarships for my academic achievements.
I have had an insatiable desire from early childhood to teach people how to love each other fully and to break through complex relational problems via the individual’s self-reflective capacity.
Part of my vision is for new language and to re-enliven the belief in true healing.
I want to work with intensely loving couples who are caught in the matrix of power battles, trigger storms and ruptures.
Those that can’t seem to move through these stuck places.
Genuine honesty, including energetic honesty is required.
For Families, Couples & Groups.
These sessions provide the opportunity for extended discussion, shared understanding of the issue, and the development of a tailored plan to support next steps. The approach is formulation-based, drawing on evidence-informed psychological and systems perspectives.
Group programs are psychoeducational and supportive in nature, delivered in line with professional and ethical standards.
Clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 10 group sessions per calendar year.
